Somewhat surprised to find out Joss Whedon has no direct connection to Scott Pilgrim. I haven't seen this level of online fannish evangelism about a film since Serenity, nor the attitude that not seeing it is somehow a moral failing.

I suppose I probably shouldn't be taking quite so much schadenfreude in its failure to meet box-office expectations, no matter how obnoxious its fans are...
