Birth Harder

Found on Wikipedia: "The Fall of a Nation"

'a 1916 silent film... a sequel to The Birth of a Nation...America is unprepared for an attack by the "European Confederated Army", a European army headed by Germany. The army invades America and executes children and war veterans. However, America is saved by a pro-war Congressman who raises an army to defeat the invaders with the support of a suffragette.'

Good to know that "America is invaded!" stories aren't purely a cold-war phenomena. And why don't more movies get largely unrelated alt-history sequels?

Wild! I guess in this movie Germany won WWI and then headed overseas? Maybe that's why Wilson really did a 180 and went from President He Kept Us Out of War to President Let's Join the War, It's Awesome - he couldn't resist the persuasive new medium.

I'm very curious to know more about this supporting suffragette.
