*grins* For what it's worth, fandom's been having quite a lot of debate lately over the Mary Sue phenomenon, and the general conclusion seems to be that writing awesome female characters who have cool powers and go on adventures and hook up with the hottest guys/girls is in fact a good thing and something that should be done more often. Because 95% of the Mary Sue hate out there is rooted in internalized sexism one way or another.
