So I get up this morning, get dressed, and I'm about to go up the street to get some bread when I realise I haven't seen my cat today. Well, that's not surprising - it's been raining, and when there's a thunderstorm she hides under my bed. So I check there. Nope. I check under the couchs. Nope.

At this point, I'm getting a little worried. I search every room in the house - still no sign of her. I shut the doors to every room in the house to keep her from leaving whatever room she's in, assuming that she's eventually going to come out of hiding, and I'll be able to hear her scratching at the door. I go outside, and I call her, terrified that she's somehow gotten outside. Still no sign of her.

At this point, I've spent about an hour looking for her, and I'm in a state of utter panic and exaustion. I collapse onto my bed, on the verge of tears, wondering how I'm going to tell my mum when she comes home from work that I've somehow lost the cat.

*Half an hour later* I hear a slight scratching at my wardrobe door. I open it up, and see my cat yawning at me, curled up on a pair of clean pants. She must have gone in there while I was getting out my clean clothes this morning, went to sleep, and didn't bother moving or meowing, even after I shut the wardrobe door again, even after I spent the entire morning frantically calling her...
