How To Waste An Entire Morning
Aug. 11th, 2010 12:40 pmSo, last semester, one of my lecturers asked if he could put my name forward to take part in some focus groups to discuss how students wanted to see the history courses change or develop in the future. I thought, what the hell, and agreed. Few weeks ago, I get an email telling me when the group will be held and where to go.
Then I get an email telling me the person running the group is busy that week, and it's been rescheduled for the next Wednesday.
Then I get an email saying someone else can't make it at that time, so could I please reply and say what other time's I'm available.
Then I get told it's now taking place at the other campus to the one all my classes are at.
So today, thinking that, alright, the time, day, and location have all changed but at least it's all resolved now, I head across town to the other campus... and wait, and wait, and wait.
After twenty minutes waiting for someone to show up, I give up and go home... and find a new email was sent about ten minutes before I left home, telling me we're now actually meeting in a different building too.
*sigh*
