- You can destroy ghosts by setting them on fire.

- All armour and weapons, no matter how damaged, can be repaired by hitting them enough times with a hammer. Yes, even fur and leather armour.

- Most shops will openly buy and sell poisons. Poisons come in many varieties, from the straightforward sort which wound or weaken the victim, to those with more obscure uses – like poisons which damage the victim’s personality...

- Guards are surprising nonchalant about giant fireballs out of nowhere striking their comrades dead where they stand; as long as you stick to the shadows, they won’t ever see that sort of thing as a reason to stray from their assigned route.

- Orcs are civilized, reasonable beings, worthy of the same respect as any other sapient being. Goblins, ogres and trolls are mindless monsters that should be killed on sight.

- A headless zombie is tougher than one which still has all its body parts.

- Gently moving someone’s items is a criminal act, and carries the same penalties as outright theft. Intentionally firing small bolts of lighting at someone’s bookshelves, scattering their contents across the room, carries no penalties.

- It is physically impossible to wield a knife or scythe as a weapon.

- Just because the Archmage of the Guild of Mages has outlawed Necromancy, and is now locked in a bitter struggle against the undead armies of the Necromancer King of Worms does not mean he’ll object to you being accompanied by a summoned zombie whenever you speak with him.

- Farmers have no problems with you wandering into their fields and taking their entire harvest.

- Despite vampires not disintegrating on death, it is still possible to collect ‘Vampire dust’ from their seemingly completely intact corpses.

- Sheep may be found near most farms, and provide a source of mutton. Deer are common in most forests, and provide venison. Pigs do not exist, but pork is commonly offered for sale in inns and taverns. It’s probably best not to investigate too closely…

Headless zombies being stronger goes against everything I thought I knew of zombies. Interesting decision on the game-makers' part.

Long pig? Ugh, enough of that thought.

I guess if they've already lost their heads, they must be older, more experienced zombies?

Or perhaps they've intentionally removed their heads and hidden them, rendering them immune to the traditional 'shotgun blast to the head' method of destroying the walking dead...
