Don't get me wrong - I do like Delenn, I just feel she became a little bland as the series went on. I suspect the Minbari civil war story was supposed to be a much more involved arc, and might have delt with this in more detail, but fell victim to the desire to wrap everything up in season four...
And if Sinclair had stayed on, I expect there would have been a conversation between him and Delenn over her past and the war eventually, but there really wasn't any way to transfer that sort of storyline to Sheridan.
