Per-Capita That's A Big Contribution, Of Course

Looking up some stuff on the Afghanistan war, I found out that according to Wikipedia, Iceland has contributed troops to the conflict. How many? A grant total of 'three, consisting of a Mobile/Military Observation Team from the Icelandic Crisis Response Unit'. Wikipedia also says that the Crisis Response Unit's only vehicles are Nissan Patrols.

Can someone please tell me what crises there are in Afghanistan that three guys in a four-wheel drive can help with?

(Bosnia, meanwhile, is contributing '10 senior military officers', but apparently no actual troops.)
