All New Miss-direction!
Jan. 14th, 2008 09:45 pmWas watching something I taped the other night, and I accidentally stopped in the middle of an ad break, and caught the end of a promo for CSI, informing me this week's episode would be "All new!"
Crap, I thought - I knew there was a CSI on tonight, but I hadn't watched it, because I assumed they'd still be showing repeats for the next few weeks. And I really don't want to miss the season return, since it's part two of last season's cliffhanger...
Then I rewound and watched the whole ad; it was, in fact, informing me that the episode of CSI showed tonight was "on an ALL NEW night... with ALL NEW attitude!"
"ALL NEW attitude" in this case, means "Is a repeat from four years ago."
Well, on the plus side, I didn't miss the season return. On the down side, I'm likely to miss it when they do show it, because I'll be ignoring any ads that claim an episode is "ALL NEW!"
