I Demand Higher Quality Crazy Old Men!

Saw a crazy ranting religious guy on the street corner today, and slowed down to hear what he was on about.

He looked pretty promising, with a big “EVOLUTION IS A LIE!” sign, and a few smaller signs about Satan and GM food. And he had a regulation crazy ranting guy beard too.

But then I actually heard what he was saying, and all he was doing was reading the Bible! Not even the good apocalyptic bits like Revelation or Daniel – just a section of Old Testament genealogy…

Now, granted, when I walked past him again a few hours later, he’d moved on a bit, so I guess he’s reading the entire Bible out loud to anyone who passes by, so that’s kinda impressive… still, it’s not the stream-of-consciousness, fire and brimstone ranting I expect from crazy old guys on street corners.

I have to say, I was very disappointed.
