OH! I just ran across this while compiling the jedi_news update for today.
I was just as confused as you were by the constant references to "Roosevelt". It took me a while to figure it out. Of course, given that "Teddy" was the great "hunter" I suppose they'll claim Palin is qualified for carrying on that legacy.

Honestly, I can't imagine why anyone would think of Teddy Roosevelt first. I've met plenty of people who don't even know who he is. (Which is sad, but that's another issue...)
