Huh. I did not know that there was a historical Vizier Jafar. A patron of the arts and science, Ja'far encouraged the spread of Greek knowledge into Baghdad and the Arab world, and helped establish the first paper mill in the Middle East. As a result of his contributions towards the spread of knowledge and culture, he has of course been permanently remembered as the archetypal scheming backstabber, and his very title is virtually synonymous with 'untrustworthy would-be usurper.'

I kinda want to know what random obscure and innocuous 20th century president or prime minister will be inexplicably remembered a thousand years from now as a demon summoning servant of darkness seeking absolute power...

Taft? By Potterverse rules, he's likely to be evil. Building a special bathtub in the White House to accommodate him, tsk tsk. Or maybe Coolidge - anyone known for being silent has got to be using the brainpower saved by not chatting to make evil plans.

If you open it up to the 19th century, it gets even more fun. I usually don't even remember that Chester Arthur was a US president. There's also James K. Polk, Millard Fillmore, and the unlucky James Garfield, shot three weeks into his term. I have no idea what any of these guys actually did.

Nah, Taft will end up being rolled up into the greater 'jolly fat man' archetype...

Coolidge is a possibility, yes.

Garfield's primary achievement was, of course, to serve as the most obvious example of the axiom that President names also generally make good cat names. Roosevelt? Good name for a cat. Jefferson? Good name for a cat. Ulysses S. Grant? Very good name for a cat. Jimmy Carter? Excellent name for a cat, or possibly a Jack Russell dog...

Here, Jimmy! Roll over, boy! Yeah, that works.

Rutherford B. Hayes is another good demonstration of that axiom. Rutherford is a great pet name.

Hmm, you're probably right about Taft. Maybe someday there'll be a B-movie called "Tafta Claus vs. Silent Cal the Bloody."

In the thrilling sequel, the heroic Roosevelt falls mysteriously ill. The nation looks on in fear as their beloved father disappears from view and the Witch-Queen Eleanor begins issuing orders in his name with the help of Grand Vizier "Slick" Willy. Can Tafta Claus uncover the shocking truth behind his partner's illness, or will the forces of corruption triumph at last?

Includes preview for the trilogy's stunning conclusion, "Killers in Camelot"!
